Pension Alamar is located in a quiet pedestrian street of the Barri Gòtic, the historical and touristic center of Barcelona.

We are near the Rambla, the most popular and well known boulevard of the city, and because this privileged location we have at hand most of the great cultural and touristic atractions, such as the Cathedral, Plaça Reial, Liceu (the great Opera House), the market of La Boqueria, Sant Jaume square (siege of the catalan autonomous government, the City Hall, and the main Bureau of Tourism), the Olympic Port, Plaça Catalunya, Picasso Museum, Palau de la Música, Passeig de Gràcia, the district of Eixample, etc.

All around us, you can find the main theaters, museums, cinemas and shopping centers in town. You’ll be able to walk 10 minutes through the port, to the beach of Barceloneta.
